Brokerage Participating Once Again in The Buffalo News News Neediest Campaign

While the approaching holiday season is looked upon as a time of giving, for HUNT Real Estate ERA ‘giving’ happens all year long. From raising money to help victims of hurricane Sandy, to HUNT Mortgage’s support of the Humane Society, to a recent United Way golf outing and wine tour that raised over $20,000 ‘giving’ is a regular part of the culture at HUNT. This year once again, all of the 14 Western New York residential sales offices of HUNT Real Estate ERA will serve as drop off locations to collect much needed items and holiday gifts as part of the The Buffalo News News Neediest Campaign. The campaign is now in its 32nd year, and HUNT ERA is always a significant partner in this important cause.

“The generosity of our agents and staff is without question -giving back to our community is part of our culture and core values,” says Peter Scarcello, Sr., General Manager for the Buffalo/Niagara region of HUNT Real Estate ERA.

HUNT will once again be joining The Buffalo News and its many partners in making sure that no child in our community is forgotten during the holidays. Sales Associates and employees are already hard at work collecting unwrapped gifts for The News Neediest Fund. Because of the efforts of local companies and agencies like HUNT, every gift and donated dollar goes back into the community.

To further support this year’s donation efforts, HUNT will be holding an Open House event on November 23-24. All listings holding public open houses on these days will also serve as drop off locations for gifts and donations to the News Neediest Campaign. For information on these open house locations, visit the all new website.

The Campaign is especially in need of gifts for children ages 8-12. Everything from arts & crafts kits to sporting equipment to books, games, electronics and more is needed. Donations will be collected at every HUNT Real Estate ERA sales office in Western New York between November 21 and December 10.
