HUNT Real Estate Corporation recently held its annual Golf Tournament & Wine Tour, benefiting the United Way. Through contributions from sponsors, participants, and HUNT sales professionals and employees, this year’s event raised $28,500 for the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. This is the 19th year HUNT has put on this event and, in total, they’ve raised over $350,000 through this annual fundraiser.

“None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our corporate partners and the dedication of our staff,” said Peter Hunt, Chairman & CEO of Hunt Real Estate Corp. “We are grateful for all of their donations and support - not just in monetary terms, but also in the commitment of their personal time to help this very worthy cause.”

“Western New York is an extraordinarily generous community. We are very grateful for the hardworking people at HUNT Real Estate who donate not only to our annual campaign but also their time and energy to the United Way every year through this successful golf tournament,” said Michael Weiner, president of United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. “I want to personally thank HUNT Real Estate and its leadership for raising their hands and helping us achieve meaningful results in our community.”

For over 20 years, HUNT Real Estate has been one of the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County’s largest charitable supporters. Since the United Way began keeping electronic records in 1994, HUNT Real Estate Corporation has raised over $730,000 for the organization.

“We value our partnership with the United Way because of their deep-rooted commitment to improving our community and creating more opportunities for the people who live here,” remarked Hunt. “Our mission is to make 2015 another record year for HUNT Real Estate’s contributions to the United Way, and the success of this event is a big step towards us achieving that goal.”
