HUNT REAL ESTATE PARTNERS WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY TO BUILD BAILEY GREEN HOME

In conjunction with the ongoing Bailey Green redevelopment project in Buffalo, the agents and employees of the Erie County branches of HUNT Real Estate ERA will be working with Habitat for Humanity Buffalo to help build a home throughout June and July.

As detailed in a recent Buffalo News article, the Bailey Green neighborhood revitalization is a project spearheaded by Harmac Medical Products, a second-generation manufacturer located on Bailey Avenue, which employs local residents. Their goal is to develop empty lots to rebuild a neglected seven-block area between Bailey and Leslie streets with ranch-style homes, apartments, greenhouses, a community garden, soccer fields, and a carpentry training center.

The partnership between HUNT and Habitat for Humanity is being led by Amber Wesser, Branch Director of HUNT’s Orchard Park and West Seneca offices.

“This is a really amazing project to be a part of and it will bring immediate improvement to the area,” said Wesser. “I have had the pleasure to meet with one of the potential homeowners who is working towards completing the requirements for owning one of these homes, and to see all of our work benefit a person who truly does appreciate these efforts makes it worth much more.”
