Fully-interactive videos shot with a 360 camera allow HUNT sales professionals to take homebuyers on narrated, interactive walkthroughs of their properties

HUNT Real Estate is utilizing 360-degree video to give prospective homebuyers an all new way to take “virtual tours” of listings they are interested in viewing. Using a state-of-the-art camera, HUNT sales professionals can record a 360-degree video of their listing, narrating the experience as they walk through each room of the property. The completed video allows the viewer to take a fully-interactive tour of the home on their desktop or mobile device. For the full HUNT Immersive Experience, users can watch these videos on a virtual reality headset, giving them the feeling of actually being in the house with the HUNT Real Estate agent as they perform the tour.

For an example of this technology in action, watch the 360 video tour below of The Chatham Model at HUNT Real Estate’s Fisher Pond development in Williamsville, New York.

Unlike traditional virtual tours, which utilize still photos or video displayed in a standard format, shooting in 360-degree video takes advantage of this emerging technology that gives the end-user complete control of the video playback experience.

“This is a game changer in the marketing of our listings,” said Dan Mirsky, Marketing Director for HUNT Real Estate. “To be able to maximize this innovative technology and give our clients a unique presentation of their property, while at the same time allowing potential homebuyers the ability to immerse themselves in the home before stepping foot through the front door is very exciting,” Mirsky commented.

HUNT has partnered with Buffalo, New York marketing agency, Nickel City Graphics to produce the HUNT Immersive Experience 360 videos.
