Pet photo contest fundraiser collects over $400 for the SPCA

HUNT Real Estate Corporation held their second annual HUNT Pet-a-Palooza Photo Contest, benefiting the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). The contest consisted of HUNT agents and employees taking photos of their pets dressed in, or appearing with, HUNT items. The photos were then posted on HUNT’s Facebook page for public voting. Those submitting photos were asked to make a donation to the the SPCA to participate. The contest raised over $400 for the SPCA.

“We received photos of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even a peacock standing in front of one of our yard signs,” said Dan Mirsky, Marketing Director for HUNT Real Estate Corporation. “It was amazing to see the positive response from the public by way of all the voting they did. Our winning dog, Bianca, received over 170 votes on Facebook.”

On Monday, May 8, representatives from HUNT Real Estate toured the new SPCA of Erie County facility in West Seneca and presented them with the $465 donation.

“To be able to tour the new SPCA facility and see the wonderful things they're doing to rehabilitate and find loving homes for these animals was special,” Mirsky commented. “We're looking forward to doing this contest again next year and donating even more to this very deserving organization.”
